So i was wondering what the new titles of the Ten will be, we had this ones:
The Ten: Grand Inquisitor, General, Archmage, High Priest, Supreme Judge, Intelligence Commissioner, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Internal Affairs, Argent Dawn Ambassador, High Druid.
Also i would like to discuss the what role everyone in the Ten has.

Well as you saw those titles were quite specific with their responsibilities and names.
Those titles would have worked very well with a large guild. We are not a large guild - but we intend to grow into one.
I think that for now we should stay as Riders of Ten - with similar responsibilities and as officers in equal share of power.
When we start hitting big numbers - like 35, 40 people - then we can implement those rankings so that they actually work.

I think we still should start planning ahead, even if only for the fun.
As the General (when implemented), I assume I will be responsible for planning and executing the brute force operations, including, but not limited to, world-PvP raids and outdoor PvE raids. I'll also expect to be in charge of organizing and executing all RP events related to military action, like close order drills, marches and excercises.
And generally I will be the resident Warmonger of the Protectorate, and will advocate heavy use of our military capabilities.
Obviously, everything has to be accepted by a majority vote by the Ten, although special exceptions may be discussed (and ironically have to be accepted by a majority vote by the Ten).
I remember Vishnah being the Grand Inquisitor (when implemented), but other than that, I don't know who will be what in the Ten when we get big (and there's still not ten members in the Ten).
Tell the rest what you expect from your position in the Ten (if you already know it), and then we'll discuss who actually gets what.

I think you are right Dors we should start talking about it now then we are ready when time comes.
But i think that PvP and PvE raids should not only be a responsebility for the Generel but maybe shared with an archmage or a highpriest. But that is just how i look at it.
I would like to be Argent Dawn Ambassador as i look at the names because i guess that must be the post, there is the face of the protectorate or the "politician".
But let's all come with ideas about what we think should be the responsebility for each post.

im not liking that one person gets to decide all this stuff, then we should not have The Ten, but just The <Enter your name here> .
As i see it now we have Dorsbur who will handle everything as a General, the PvP and PvE, so what does that leave us? the roleplay part...? What does the other Ten do?
I think we have to discuss this good, and get very VERY clear what role you have as one of the TEN

I said world-PvP and outdoor-PvE, in reference to the RPish events. I didn't say all PvP and PvE.
And all in all, the different Titles of the Ten will mostly be RP-related anyways, we get no points, epicks!!11 or godl!!111 for giving speeches to the Stormwind Council, random people in the Trade District, or visiting the Cathedral for some prayers or such, trying desperately to get a few people stand in a straight line for a few moments without fidgeting, rotating or bouncing, or barging in on guildmembers for IC-reasons, yelling "Nobody expects the Protectorate's inquisition!"
This doesn't go anywhere if you just say that it has to be discusses. It has to, but it has to be discussed. That's why I asked you to tell what you expect from your position in the Ten if you already know it, or what position would you want and what do you expect from it.
So discuss the matter, don't discuss discussing the matter.

i dont expect nothing from any position since i dont have a clue in what they consists. I was ment to be AD ambassador, so i started to look for lore and more info about the AD to be told that the current titles will not be used. So no, i dont know what to expect. Thats why am asking here.
"This doesn't go anywhere if you just say that it has to be discusses. It has to, but it has to be discussed." sorry dont understand this.

"This doesn't go anywhere if you just say that it has to be discusses. It has to, but it has to be discussed." sorry dont understand this. So far we've only been discussing about discussing it. We need to discuss the actual matter at hand, not how to discuss it. And the Ten will get the titles when we have enough people in the guild for it to be plausible.

I think we should have ranks that looks like this.
1High Priest=Army council 2Generel=Army council 3Archmage=Army council
Where the gathered army council is responsible for warfare like PvP and PvE. Where the generel so can be responsible for millitary actions and the priest for all healing and so on the structure in the council can be made up by those 3 players.
4Supreme Judge=Responsible for finding out when a guild member is accused for doing something wrong by either another guild mate or some strangers then the judge have to find out if it is true and what the punishment should be.
5Minister of Internal Affairs= Will be responsible for new members that deseves a promotion will be remembered on the TEN meetings where we will find out if they will get promoted or not.
6Intelligence Commissioner= Responsible for the making a thread or something like it where the guild members can use their intelligence together. I mean a place where people who are 300 blacksmiths will be listed so warriors that needs armor know where to go and so on.
7Argent Dawn Ambassador= Obviusly this is the person who takes contact with the Stormwind council or other guilds and represents the protectorates opinions best possible.
8( I dont have a name for this position) = A person who is responsible for recruits will get a mentor or something like that a person recruits can talk to and ask questions to.
9Coordinating officer= The person that makes every thing fit together.. The person who are responsible for guild meetings and so on..
10 need an idea for 10
This is my ideas about it some spots i have cut because i dont think we need an ambasador and a minister of foreign affairs because that would be 2 person for the same small job.
Again it's my ideas so let's discus them and come with some ideas yourself...

It's all mostly role-play, you know.
*Grand Inquisitor: In charge of keeping the ranks of the Protectorate clean of infiltrators, traitors and other such threats from within.
*General: Just as the name suggests, a military commander. Or in our case, the field commander, since in old times the generals were at the front, and we're still quite the military guild.
*Archmage: In charge of all things arcane. Also I suggest that (once we have enough members) a Mage council will be formed to act as advisors.
*High Priest: Religious head, would bless all war parties going to battle, and also preach about justice and stuffs in general.
*Supreme Judge: In charge of making the final decision, basically a chairman. Might be a bit tricky in practise.
*Intelligence Commissioner: In charge of knowing the wheres and whys of Alliance guilds and enemy forces. Works closely with the General and Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and in case of infiltration, the Grand Inquisitor and Supreme Judge too.
*Secretary of Foreign Affairs: The diplomat. The "Foreign" suggests the Horde and such, but I think this should be about Alliance guilds, friendly, neutral and hostile alike. Tweaking of the title name is advised.
*Minister of Internal Affairs: Coordination and information within the Protectorate. Would work closely with the Inquisitor and Supreme Judge. Jurisdiction over events too, perhaps?
*Argent Dawn Ambassador: I don't know much about the Argent Dawn, except that they're a major anti-Scourge player. Roleplaying-wise this is a big position, in practical matters, not so much.
*High Druid: If we ever get any elves in the guild, this would be the guy in charge of hugging them trees, no? :3
Note that this is based on what comes to my mind from the names of the titles (and the High Druid thing is a blatant joke).

i see your thoughts but it is as you say only RP and there is some jobs somebody have to do so i was trying to put the jobs to the names...
Some of them ar totaly useless and pure RP then the difference is just the Name i know we are an RP guild and i have been playing RP in 9 years now so i think it is cool but we should still have a job that follows the name...

Anything OOC that doesn't fall in any way to any one title will be handled by the members of the Ten. Most of the OOC stuff falls pretty well with the Titles in my opinion.

Yeah but i'm not just talking OOC jobs i'm also talking IC jobs.. Because i think many things are unclear... I got the job as Diplomat like you got to be Warrior comander or what it was you called it in Stormwind the night we made the guild. But the diplomat is pretty open it could be both the Argent Dawn Ambasedor or Secretary of Foreign Affairs...

That kind of defies the "Argent Dawn" in the Ambassador, and leaves us with only nine titles.
